Measuring Behind! How big a deal is it?

Question

We heard the heartbeat, but are behind by 4 days. What does everyone think?

Answer

We did fertility treatments so I have had two US so far. Because of this, my date is known exactly. At US #1, our little star was measuring 6w3d when it should have been 6w5d. At US #2, we measured 7w5d which was the exact date it should have been. My doc said that fluctuating a few days either way will happen the entire pregnancy and not to worry unless it got to be a week or more behind. He said some times we will be spot on, sometimes we won't. It depends on how our little star feels. Long story short, don't stress over it too much. You may be spot on at your next appointment or you could have ovulated late and be spot on now without knowing it.

I'm measuring 4 days behind as well. I know exactly when I ovulated but baby might not have implanted till later. My doctors weren't concerned and kept my due date the same.
