Any other ladies struggling with gestational diabetes? I just found out I could possibly have GD. Not handling it very well. :/

I just got my glucose done yesterday, I don't think I have it because I was able to handle the drink well. However I have been experiencing a lot of dizziness so the doctor believes something is going on with my glucose. The dizziness isn't from like swaying my head to fast or getting up too fast, but like I'll be sitting down either eating for just got done eating and I'll get dizzy, sometimes I have to eat to feel better. One time I was driving. So maybe it's that my sugar is dropping too low? Idk

You can do this girl! Just don't beat yourself up, it's not any fault of yours. Just watch your numbers and you'll be stellar!

I had it with my first. I was able to control my numbers with diet. Sugar isn't a problem for me but carbs are. Carbs are so much worse than just sugar. The worst part was checking my blood 4 times a day and doing the non stress tests 2 times a week. I have a few more weeks before my glucose test this time around. I had to keep my numbers below 100. Take walks after you eat and snack. They should send you to see a nutritionist.

I've had type 1 diabetes. This is my third pregnancy no it's not easy but worth every second. Just make sure u stay away from sweets and not that many carbs

I failed my one hour glucose test yesterday. So I have to go back sometime this week and do the three hour one. Here's to hoping I don't have it!

It's scary I failed my 1 hour test and passed my 3 hour test! I was so afraid and thought I had it because diabetes runs in my family and my mom had GD with me and I was 11 pounds I was so stressed but passing the 3 hour test made me feel so much better

Did they recommend any foods to eat? It's hard to turn to something healthy when u just want that fattening item!!!
