Too close to a popular name?

After growing up with a name that was the most popular for 5 years running around my birth year I don't want to curse my daughter with the same problem. It has taken us forever to find a name we really liked and we finally settled on Isobel. Is this too close to the 4 year running top name in the US, Isabella?

How do you say that?? Like ice-oh-bel? If it's Isabelle, that spelling is awful. It's the same name so why complicate it just to make it look different

We liked Isabelle and Lucy. Both very popular. So we combined them into one that's not so regularly heard, Lucibelle. Her name will be Lucibelle Sha. Maybe try doing a combo name like that!

My oldest is Isobel Sophia. She has never had to distinguish herself in school by use of her last initial.

I love the spelling Isobel, it's been on my names I love list for a while now. I feel like it is different enough :) I also have dealt with an overly popular name (Brittany) which is why I chose to go by my nickname Bryn
