Ladies with PCOS?

Ladies with PCOS... 
What was your first clue? 
Was it because you weren't getting pregnant? Was it lack of ovulation clues? Did your doctor bring it up?

I keep hearing about it. Even with my husband and I not having a lot of sex, there are some months I don't understand how I didn't get pregnant unless there just was no egg present.

Irregular cycles, whacky bbt, acne, weight gain and a few random black wirey hairs on my neck (f'ing pcos lol).

Irregular cycles, other than that no clue. I've never paid attention to my cycles before TTC, I thought I was "one of the lucky ones". Boy was I wrong!

I wish I had a 28 - 31 day cycle, it would make timing ovulation a lot easier. I have been of birth control for 4 years and I'd say being in my early 20's I have quite an active sex life. My SO and I officially started TTC a year and half ago, still no luck.

I'm currently on day 60 of my cycle and got a BFN today. I can't wait for AF to arrive, so I have a fresh new cycle to try again. Best of lucky to you!

Pcos sucks. I've have it for almost 10 years and just this past week was the first time in forever that I ovulated and got my period on my own. Boy did it feel GREAT! But my first clues where excessive weight gain, hair growing everywhere, acne, the whole shabang.  I did get pregnant on the pill 5 years ago and would really like to have another one soon. Hopefully we can overcome this wicked disorder.

I was 13. My I went without a period for over a year. I was almost 15 when they diagnosed me. I was lacking periods.

I was diagnosed exactly one year ago. I already knew basically that I had pcos or expected it. But Officially hearing "You have OR most likely have PCOS" was heartwrenching. I have battled irregular, unpredictable cycles without birth control since I was a teenager. My husband and I are ttc.

I didn't know when I was younger because my mom slapped me on BC at 10 when I got my first period was on it until about 17 not sure then I got off of it I noticed I was strangely hairy and had hair growing in places it shouldn't on a female then noticed my cycles were all over the place. Got married tried to conceive and nothing no matter how much sex or any thing we did nothing so I got older and more afraid and started doing research that's when I discovered I had PCOS  we struggled for years and just last year I found wonderful Vitex and started taking it and it helped me out and I got myself a Vitex baby

I was 13 skipping a few periods and when they came the lain was so unbareable i would throw up. As soon as i hit 18 i stsrted getting dark spots more hair and missing af didnt find out until 2011 at 19 i had pcos because hubby (highschool sweetheart)  and i had been ttc since i was 17 with no luck. So now we are going through weightloss and trying again we had miscarry a yr ago at 12wks. Even though we were told we would never be parents. God willing with prayer and determination i will loose at least 40lbs by feb. :) so we can start up again :)

My first clues were unbelievable painful periods and way too much bleeding.

My doctor asked for a hormonal test, and my estrogen levels were almost inexistent.

I've been told that getting pregnant without medical assistance will be almost impossible. Either way, we're still trying, for at least 6 months... Then we'll see...

I start my first round of clomid in a couple days. I also just got done taking provera to force AF. I have been on metformin  since August.

I was aboutb17 and had not had a period for about 4 months, so we went to the doctor and he did tests and and ulta sound. I got see them. It was weird. Ever since then I have been on some sort of b/c, and then had my Mirena taken out, and I'm back to a period every 3-4 months. Went to the doctor. Got a progesterone shot, and took my fist round of clomid. I think I'm ovulating now (haven't tested yet, will when I get home). We will see if it works.
