Cute or too unusual?

We're expecting our first baby, a girl, in September. My partner suggested Kady. According to nameberry it's Gaelic meaning first, which I think is sweet. The name has really grown on me but my only hesitation is that it might be too unusual... what do you think - cute or weird?

I think the main girl from MEAN GIRLS has that name and spelling ( or it might be cady) I'm not a huge fan, but if you 2 agree on it, do it! No I don't think it's too unusual. I think people will know how to pronounce it

I personally think it's average. It's like Katy with a D.  It's a cute name but not unique.

My daughter's name is Kadence and her father's side of the family have all nicknamed her Kady since she was born. I don't think it's that unusual. Assuming you're pronouncing it like "Katie."
