Pcos and yeast infection?

Hi ladies,

Any of you with PCOS have reoccurring yeast infections? I get them every month! I don't know what to do to get fully rid of them.. Any information or suggestions would be appreciated!

one symptom of PCOS is insulin resistance. high lvls of sugar in your system can lead to yeast infections.  if you're not on metformin it may help. also taking acidophilus helps keeps the right bacteria in your body to fend off yeast.

I thought I was having recurring yeast infections, but after a few tests at the doctor they found no yeast. My younger sister has PCOS as well and will feel like she is having a yeast infection too. I don't know why exactly, but it makes us miserable! I find the better I am at cutting out sugar and refined grains, the better my crotch feels. I haven't had any issues now in a couple of months!
