Bath with newborn
Nbfr- do you or have you had a bath with your newborn? My lg is 3 weeks old and I'd love a nice warm bath with her doing skin to skin but I'm bit worried about her getting to cold and I'm gonna sound silly now but it confuses me how I'm gonna get my self out and baby out without one or both getting cold from staying wet. How do you all go about having a bath with your baby if you do.

I sacrificed and got cold while drying him off, putting his diaper on and dressing him. I threw a towel around me after putting him on his changing pad on the floor but until he was dry and ready to go, I was still pretty damp. It wasn't too bad though. Worth it for the fun playtime/cuddles in the bath. Good luck!
You can Google how to do it. It's easiest with a helper but it can be done on your own. I tried it once and my baby hated it. He was around 3 weeks then. He didn't like the giant open space of the regular tub. I wasn't a huge fan either because you only fill the tub up part way and I was cold. Now (6 weeks) we swaddle bathe him in the baby tub and he loves it. Good luck!
