Been together 7 months...but...

My bf and I have been together 7 months, and he has yet to say the L word. I love him, there is no doubt in my mind, but I won't say it for many reasons. I'm 30 and he's 33. I've been in a lot of horrible relationships and don't want to get that vulnerable and be rejected. He has made little comments, that make me think he doesn't love me yet.

However, it is so confusing because we take family vacations (I have 3 kids from a previous relationship), we talk about marriage, buying a house, and having kids.

I'm just confused lol. If he doesn't love me yet, that's fine. However, my brain hurts thinking about it lol.

I've just never been in a relationship where it has taken this long for the L word, but then again, we've taken it slow (which is awesome) from the get go. I guess I'm just ready for that next step.

You'd think dating at 30 would be easy, but to be honest, it was a lot easier in my early years. Naivety is better than being hurt and becoming a bit jaded.
