Need advice.. TTC but hormones are crazy...

My SO and I decided in December to TTC. I got off my bc, the dr told me it can stay in my system for 3 months. Here we are 5 months later and for the last 2, I have had crazy mood swings. I'm constantly on an emotional roller-coaster. I'm not sure what to do. Part of me wants to get back on bc to stabilize my moods, but we still want a baby. Has anyone else had this problem? Any advice?
