Period/pregnancy symptoms or cause to see Dr.?

Megan

I am at the tail end of my TWW with only 3 days left before the due date of my AF. I feel dizzy sometimes, and exhausted after the simplest of tasks.

My job requires a lot of lifting (I work with adults who have developmental disabilities, and I do a lot of lifting while getting them ready to use the restroom or while changing them), and I am used to the physical demand. On Friday, I noticed that I am getting very tired after assisting my individual, which is something I do every day. I ignored it and thought I needed more sleep. On sunday, I took my dog for a walk and came home so tired that I took a three hour nap, and was able to sleep soundly through the night. I NEVER take naps during the day because it is very hard for me to sleep with light on.

Today, I took a shower and I felt like I needed a nap. After a shower. A task that I have been doing pretty much daily since I can remember. I've never felt so tired after such a simple activity.

I really don't think I am pregnant. I didn't bd enough (only twice and not even on my peak), and I didn't get a "maybe this month" feeling. It's just a gut feeling that I am absolutely not pregnant.

I've never had this feeling before a period before. I actually never get any pms symptoms besides tender breasts.

Has anyone else experienced this? Or is it severe enough to warrant a doctors visit? I can afford the appointment, but I don't want to take time off work or spend the copay for "nothing is wrong with you".
