FTM: When to wash baby clothes?

So, I'm a little over 31 weeks and I just had my baby shower. I'm measuring 2 weeks ahead. When is the perfect Time to start washing the babies clothes, sheets, bedding? I'm a first time mommy!

Do it now if you want! For me, I was glad I got it done earlier rather than later. Just because I got so tired and grumpy by the end, haha.

I would wait till 35-36 weeks because after a while clothes start to get a weird smell since they haven't been washed in a while but wash them earlier if you want and just put bounce sheets in :)

My momma is washing them for me because we live in an apartment with a not-so-great washer and dryer {moving the day before due date and getting a brand new washer/dryer yay!}. Started at about 34 weeks and between all the clothes, blankets, etc. {plus her regular laundry}, it took her about 2-3 weeks to get everything completely done. So I would start now because there's just SOOOO much stuff! Plus it feels good to have everything ready, not rushing around at the end!

That's really up to you! I washed everything the day after my baby shower and I was 32 weeks. I was just really excited!
