How early does an ultrasound detect twins?
I went in yesterday (6 weeks) ad had a vaginal ultrasound to make sure things were ok with baby. When they did the ultrasound I only saw 1 gestational sac and yolk sac. Couldn't see a baby yet. Just wondering if it was twins would I have already seen 2 gestational sacs or would it show up later on? Twins run in my family so I'm anxious to find out if I am having 1 or 2 :)
