Darkening nipples when pregnant?

So, my wife is about 18 weeks pregnant and her nipples have darkened and enlarged a little bit. I have no problem with this,I am just curious if this is typical and is it going to stay like this after she gives birth?

Also, they are more erogenous which she doesn't like touched any more because she feels she will get turned on When breastfeeding. Does that happen too? I don't know what to say to this.

If you look into actual research that has been done on these topics you will learn that 1) every woman is different. Some breasts will go back to "normal" and some won't and 2) women can actually be turned on while breastfeeding just like some women can orgasm while giving birth. If she usually gets turned on with nipple stimulation in the bedroom then there is a chance that breast feeding will turn her on. This is completely normal.

Unfortunately right now you just have to respect her boundaries and do what she's comfortable with.
