Question

Any women ever found out they had chlamydia got it cured & got pregnant with no problem ? If you're not scared of ppl being judgemental like can you please tell me how long you had it before finding out and how long it took to get pregnant.

I had no clue how long I had it when I found out. I was sure I was ruined. I took the medicine for a week and found out I was pregnant the very next month. I was told it takes a very long time to cause major long term complications. I could have had it anywhere from 3 years to 6 months. Learned my lesson about safe sex a little too late!

I'm not entirely sure how long I had it but I believe about 5 mths before it was discovered and treated but treatment failed so another 4ish mths before it was gone. So about 9 mths total having it. Got preg about 10.5 mths later but we weren't trying but for the last 3 mths of that time. The chlamydia was before I got with my husband I actually delayed having sex with him to make sure it was out of my system. That preg miscarried but it was not because of chlamydia.

After having my 2nd child I had a normal pap then 8 months later when I got pregnant with my 3rd I found out I had it took the meds and it was cleared up right away never had any more problems with it. I was with the same partner the whole time. 4 1/2 years later I am now carrying my 4th my husbands first.

I found out after I had been with my then-boyfriend, now-husband for just 6 months. I didn't cheat either I just didn't know I had it before I was getting routine testing done. It's difficult but definitely something a strong couple can make it through. It's good he's supportive. Mine said it was just a speed bump and we would be fine, and we were! If you're really concerned about your tubes, some doctors will do a laparoscopy and see if your tubes are blocked. How long have you been trying?
