Morning after pill

My boyfriend and I had sex last Saturday and he ejaculated while still inside of me. I'm not on birth control and we didn't use any protection because we established that we were going to use the withdrawal method (obviously that failed). That same morning, I took the morning after pill about 45 minutes after we had sex... What are the chances that the pill didn't work? I'm a little freaked out.
