Iui cost is it about the same everywhere else?

Question

1st round of iui @ 1600.00 to dr. @680.00 on meds. Total of @ 2280.00. Is this about what ever one else is spending? Where can us with infertility problems get some help? Any suggestions are welcome.

Ours was about $2600
Meds was $1100
Monitored ...therefore, went in for ultrasound every 3 days which was about $240-$260 per visit...we had about 5 visits total. The actual IUI with sperm wash was $170! It was the best thing we ever paid for because we got pregnant on the first try with twins after trying for 3 years!

Seems about right. Ours including everything was about $2,200.  Some people get them cheaper because they don't go in for monitoring and only have to pay for the IUI itself (not all the additional ultrasounds which is what makes it so expensive).

The actual iui including speem wash and insemination is $500 first day and if u go in for a second day its an additional $200. I was on clomid which isn't covered by insurance but is inexpensive. Was $24 bucks at my walmart pharmacy. Insurance does cover the ultrasound monitoring while on clomid so big plus there. I had to have a day 3 ultrasound and then back on day 12.

$800 for sperm prep and iui 
Right around $1200 and that was with no fertility coverage on my health insurance...

If I need it again I have coverage but will pay out of pocket until I hit my deductible then it's covered 100%

Only got two ultrasounds . How many is normal.

Ours cost $700 out of pocket. $500 for the cost of sperm and shipping to Hawaii where we are stationed and $200 for the washing. I wasn't on a medicated cycle since this is our first try at getting pregnant but if I was all of that is covered by our insurance.

We do 1 ultrasound on Day 12 (partially covered by insurance, we pay $120), pay $360 for the semen isolation and insemination, $5 for letrozole and $30 for Ovidrel. For a total of about $515 (although if we jump through enough hoops we can get back $140 from our insurance for the IUI itself). Our June cycle will cost more as we'll be adding a day 7 ultrasound ($120) and Gonal-F ($200). My doctor is in Salt Lake City, UT.
