Can yeast infections delay periods, or can they be an early sign of pregnancy.

This might be way TMI but my Vagina is itchy and I have white discharge, I Think it's a yeast infection but I'm curious because ive never had one... Can I be pregnant and this course the yeast infection, or can the yeast infection be just delaying my period? I took a pregnancy test yesterday And it came up negative but some people are telling me to retest in a few days, what do you Think?
