Proud to be Irish today.

mi
I don't know if this is technical the place for this, but following the #hometovote and #voteyes on Facebook and twitter today, has really made me proud, the open minded and loving people who want equality for all, has really brought tears to my eyes. We held a referendum on marriage equality today, i'm so hopefuly for all my friends and family, their friends, and every peson who this vote will benifit, it was great seen the young and old out together, including my 83 year old grandmother who proudly voted yes. Hopefully this time tomorrow will be full of celebration! I really hope the people of Ireland won't let all these beautiful, wonderful people down. As my granny said " if straight prople have to suffer through a marriage together why not the gays" ( it doesn't matter how many times we have asked her to stop saying the "gays" she still says it)
