When can you start working out

Question

So how long after giving birth did you wait to start working out again? I mean more than just walking 😊

I think a lot of it depends on you. I was walking pretty early on, and doing yoga around 3-4 weeks because I felt good. Nothing crazy, but enough to feel semi-normal again. But, I was doing yoga at 38 weeks, too. So I think it really depends on how you feel.

Even though I felt really good, I waited until 5 weeks pp. and it wasn't my normal routine-just body weight squats and calf raises, and then some upper body work with light weights I have at home.

6 weeks or when you are cleared by your obgyn.

Me too I wanna know! I'm gonna start as soon as it is no longer uncomfortable to walk. I'm 2 week post. How about you guys?

I would check with your OBGYN before you start anything besides walking. Even if you feel better you still may not be fully recovered. :)
