My husband and I have been married for almost 7 years now and we have a beautiful daughter. He has a friend that's a girl that has some issues (dad). My husband is a sweet guy and cares for people but him and her go out to see movies and are out for hours. I may just be being paranoid, he says there's nothing going on that they're just friends. Its very frustrating especially since he does a lot of things with her that he would do with me when we were dating. I don't know what to do

If she really is a friend why can't all three of you go then. Your married what's his is yours so she should be your friend also to where it's all three of you guys not just them. You should all next time and if he say no I would watch that so called friendship. At the end of the day he is your husband and it don't look good for him to always be out with another women more then his wife.

Rule number one in my marriage... My husband is friends w/ all of my male friends and I'm friends w/ all of his female friends. We all go out together. You need to express your concerns to him. I really don't think it's a great idea for them to be going out by themselves to the movies or to eat. As innocent as they might be... It's easy for people to catch feelings. Be careful

Ask to go along. If they are just friends it shouldn't be an issue if you went too.

My advice is trust your gut and see if she wants to become friends with you too. If she doesn't make the effort to become friends with the woman he loves then she's not a good friend. He might think it's platonic but you never know what she's thinking.

It's good to be a nice and caring guy but that's not good. That definitely would NEVER happen in my relationship unless someone wants to get slapped. Cuz to me that is a date.

I understand he is caring and stuff towards his friend. However instead of spending so much time with her and going to movies and stuff doesn't sound right to me, he can spend that time with you and your daughter. Have you met this friend??? Has he ever asked you to join them? I would say you need to talk to him about this or the next time he is going to see her ask to go along. If there's nothing going on between them he will be happy to take you along.

Communication! Tell him you are glad he is generous and caring, but tell him he feels it is too much and they are things he did with you when you were dating and it makes you feel uncomfortable? Maybe even offer to come with him on a night out?
