So my boyfriends birthday is in December, he's been wanting to go to Colorado and I want to go ahead and arrange that. Do you think this would be a good present? Also when is the best time to buy the tickets?

I live in CO and I wish I didn't quite often. I would get tickets to any place ASAP. Tourist attractions book freakishly fast here. Lots of ice skating, skiing, snowboarding, holiday events and parades! You name it!

Buy tickets now. I'm moving to CO Wednesday and as soon as I knew my dates I bought tickets months ago. Southwest is a very cheap option. Just make sure you pay for early bird check in that way you guys get seats together.

I lived in Colorado it's amazing tons of stuff to do! Depending on how far away you are you can find tickets as cheap as 40$ a ticket! If u buy them in the middle of the week!

Woo! My husbands a native and I've lived here since I was 6. If you come in December a lot of places will be packed ski/hotel wise so definitely book those early. Flights in and out are typically cheapest on Tuesdays and Wednesday's.
