Question about first Appt?!!

I go in next Thursday for my first Appt, will they do an ultra sound that day or do I have to wait for another Appt for the ultra sound?!

Depends on your doctor. Mine did one at my first appointment. And they only done 1 more at 20 weeks.

My first appointment was today. Based on my period, I should be 8 weeks, but I didn't get a positive home pregnancy test until last week. At my appointment, they got a urine sample and did a pregnancy test. They also sent me to the lab for blood work. Drew lots of blood & scheduled my ultrasound for next Thursday! 😊

I also believe it depends on your insurance. My Dr said that insurance required us to wait 2 days after first appointment.

First appointment me for me included blood work, urine tests, a pelvic exam... Weight, blood pressure, height, and my info. Depending on how far along I was they would attempt heart beat on monitor. I always had to schedule my ultrasounds as separate appointments... But I know some that do it that day!

I had my first ultrasound at 8 weeks, they did it to date my little lovie and because I have a history of high blood pressure, so it all just depends.
