Not necessarily. You love who you love. I know that doesn't follow everyone's religion, and I truly don't mean to offend anyone, so I'm sorry if I do. But everyone is capable of love. You don't really have control of who you love. It just happens. If this situation is yours, go with your heart. Don't let others tell you differently. This question doesn't even make sense. It poses a sexuality against a legal union but doesn't say whether this person experiences a change in how they experience their sexual orientation. Also, of course, they could be bi. I never presume that someone in a relationship with someone of the same sex is gay/lesbian. The only way to know someone's identity is to ask.

Of course it's possible. You can marry anyone you like of the opposite sex (don't know where you're based - some places haven't legalised gay marriage yet). If you're asking whether someone who's gay or lesbian can change their sexuality, then not so much. You're born with your sexual identity, it doesn't chop and change... Unless of course you are bisexual and attracted to both sexes. But 99.9% of homosexual people will say that their sexuality has not and will not change. Not quite sure if this is the answer you were looking for, but that's how I interpreted your question. :)
