Painful Breast Lump?

I found a breast lump on my right breast near my sternum 2 months ago and thinking that it would go away but it's still here and is painful... I'm so nervous right now.. the lump is movable.. anybody  who has the same thing? any comments please...:( I'm really worried..

I had one in my armpit and was worried too. My doctor said that tumors generally don't hurt. It is likely a cyst. Go in to have it checked out, so you can relax. Not knowing is the worst! Keep us posted.

I would go see a dr asap. If it is breast cancer then early detection is best. I've lost every woman in my family to breast cancer on both sides. Better to be safe than sorry

I would see a doctor for peace of mind. I had a lump close to my nipple it was a pea size lump. It turned out to be a simple cyst. I had it aspirated and all good. Now it's gone and don't have to worry about it anymore. Best thing ever.

Yep I was told the same, rumors are not painful. Usually just there. I had to get an ultrasound on my breast to be sure my lump was nothing to be concerned about.

I had one in my left breast and had it removed a little over a year ago and my mom had the same surgery a couple months ago. They were both nothing but I have another one and might have to get surgery again on the same breast. But don't stress too much and go to the doctor soon. Good luck to you.

I had it. Mine turned out to be mastitis. An infection in the breast tissue. Get it checked asap so it won't lead to other health issues. I'm glad I did cause it hurt like heck.

I have a grape sized one that kinda moves but it doesn't hurt Iv had it for like 5 or so years. My doc said its a cyst that doesn't need to be removed.

I had this under my breast. It was hard and easy to move around and sore. Had it examined with an ultra sound and it was a subaceous cyst. The Dr said they wouldn't take it out as it posed no threat. It then became infected and was really red and sore. I went back and kicked off as I was told it wouldn't cause any issues. Had it taken out within 5 minutes, it was a bit like shelling a pea. I was then on antibiotics to clear the infection for 10 days afterwards. Go to your Dr and get seen to, if anything it will ease your mind.
