Stick with my perfect dream name?

Me and SO have been together 5 years this fall. Still not married and Its obviously not going there. We got Prego and we're SUPER happy for our baby girl to-be but have been fighting over the name I'm in LOVE with (that I've had picked out since before I knew I was Prego) because he doesn't like it. But he argues with my every opinion anyway and in the end always has to be right or have the last say so-and I'm not having it this time just so he can "win"

Compromise is important in a relationship, and that goes both ways. What are his reasons for not liking the name?  What are his solutions?  
I think naming a baby is really hard. My husband and I waited until after the anatomy ultrasound to even think about it with our first baby and this current one. I like getting a good look at my baby before I try to label him or her. Even then it's still really hard.  You have some time left. There's no need to rush. Talk to him and come up with something you both feel good about.

Is there a possibility to make the dream name a middle name? My husband wanted to name our baby after his mom, but I don't really like the name. I also had a bunch of names that he hated. We compromised and decided if we have a girl then her middle name will be after his mom and if it's a boy then my maidan name will be the middle name. The name we have picked actually just came out of nowhere and wasn't on either of our lists. I do think it's important to agree on a name (or at least have both people like the name), but that's just my opinion.

I have had my baby girls name picked out for years. My so fell in love with it right away but we argued over a boys name. I told him that he got to pick the middle name and its getting his last so I get to pick the first, even though he didnt like it it grew on him. But you do have to compromise so both of you are happy with what you pick to name her.

My dream name was Juliet Marie... My husband hated it. I woke him up every day for a month talking about Juliet in hopes it would just start sounding normal, didn't work. I got him to write about three different lists of names during that time and he finally came to me with his final favorites. I chose Logan Elise from his list. I feel like this is his little chance for input and bonding, while I get to be with her for nine months everyday and feel her kick and squirm.

I'm in the same boat with name picking. Granted it's not my dream name... That was Breatumn and I have grown up since then lol. But I am completely sold on the name and he hates it but won't come up with one of his own

I had so many names I loved picked out for my future children, but now that we're having children I let my hubby decide our first girl and first boys names. I got to pick the middle names. We're naming our daughter after his grandmother and a few women on my side of the family. Our boy name is just one we like. 
If you're having such a hard time agreeing I suggest trying to find another name you like and just keep them both in mind. Don't decide until you see baby. That's what I would do.

My man has had his baby girl name picked out for years. Sebriel Rose and I've tried for almost a month to get him to modify it because I don't feel like I have much of an input and feel sorta left out. But I decided I'm fine with it if her name is Sebriella ((as much as I have a distaste for 'Ella' ex husbands mothers name)). As well though we agreed now that with our next child it will be up to me with small input from him haha so it works out decently. Just means he names the girl and I'll probably get to name the boy he was hoping for.  Though I'm not as picky as him about input haha.
