Fifths Disease... Anyone with experience?

Last week I got a call from the neighbor that her first grader has Fifths Disease and she wanted to let me know because it can be dangerous to a fetus. Most adults are immune because apparently most people get it as a child. I just found out yesterday that I'm not immune and now I have to see a specialist on Thursday. Apparently it causes a decrease in red blood cells which is fine for everyone but babies. This decrease can cause a baby's heart to work too hard. Anyway, prayers would be appreciated. If you've been in this situation, I'd love to hear your experience.
