Arms above your head ??

Is it true that if you put your arms above your head the umbilical cord can wrap around the baby's neck ?

If this was true I would assume it would happen in nearly every pregnancy. Think about how often you put your arms above your head - reaching into a kitchen cupboard, washing your hair, etc.

Not true. Lactation consultant specifically addressed this old wives tale and said it was nonsense at our childbirth class.
