Single mom dilemma

I have been alone this whole pregnancy. The father didn't want to be involved and so I let him have his wish. I have met a guy and he wants to go out...I'm 37 weeks so I'm basically a little freaked out about dating but he seems nice and understanding about my situation. So I guess my question is does anyone have any advice for me?
