Carrying heavy stuff?

Is is dangerous for a pregnant woman to carry heavy stuff, like a case of bottles water or groceries? Etc.

The reason pregnant women aren't supposed to carry heavier items is because of your round ligaments loosening and pelvic ligament loosening. You could end up pulling something really bad.

I moved this week and definitely did more lifting than normal. Admittedly my back is sore but everything near the baby feels fine.

As long as you were doing those things before and it's not causing discomfort my dr said its ok to continue lifting whatever I did before. I live in the second floor and I carry my toddler and groceries all in one trip all the time.

I live on a third floor walk up so I don't carry much upstairs anymore. I'm 29w Friday!
