weight lose?

iam 15 weeks pregnant. my start weight was 225 i weigh my self yesturday iam 213... total of 12 pounds lost. is this normal??? is this affecting my baby?

I started at 229 and at last weigh in (13 weeks) I was down to 210. My Dr was not concerned about it and said that it was likely due to an increase of water consumption and healthier eating habits I adopted when I learned I was pregnant. Some ladies lose because of morning sickness too (I was lucky and avoided that). Dr said I would likely start gaining some back midway through the second trimester.

My first appointment at 9w4d I was at 250...then at 13w4d I was at 240...my doctor said my weight looks good. I think that if you lose weight a lot very fast then I would call your doctor but as long as the doctor says that everything's good then I wouldn't be too worried.

With my first child I started at 180 and I gained 15 lbs the whole pregnancy , by my 6 week check up I had lost 20+ lbs ....my son weighed a whopping 10lbs 13oz nothing wrong and totally healthy !!

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I was 230 the day I had my son (almost 5yrs ago) and I started this pregnancy at 229.  :( I am 14w 0d and haven't gained any weight.  I'm thinking about doing more cardio now that I have more energy
