When does their eyes change?

My daughter is mixed with half black half white. She was born with blue eyes and I know it more than likely won't stay this color. She's about to be a month on the 29th. So when did your child's eyes change or did they ever change?

The bottom pic is my son at 3 months and the top is him at 4 years..... He was born with those baby Blues.... Had them up until he was 3... They got darker. Now he has green eyes.

My son is mixed as well. His eyes were grey then turned blue up until maybe 2 or 3 now they are green and sometimes hazel. He is going on 6. They usually change by 6 months.

My son is mixed black and white and he has massive blue eyes at 2... dont think theyre changing any time soon!

Mine was born with green eyes,even though both me and her dad have brown eyes,now she is 5 months old and she has dark brown eyes.

Anther baby I know was born with blue eyes and they got to dark green by the end of the first year.

So I guess it depends.

Over the course of her first year my daughters eyes went from a honey color to a light brown. I've got German ancestry and my husband is from Lebanon.

While she's half black she is quite white. I think she possibly may keep her current eye color or be slightly more towards hazel

My nieces were born with the bluest eyes you've ever seen, and it wasn't until they were about 3 that they turned hazel like my brothers. I was also born with blue eyes, which turned green when I was 3 as well. I'm sure it has to do with family genetics.

My daughter was born with dark blue eyes, that then went dark grey and now they're brown like me and my husband's eyes. It took about 18 months all together.
