When should you seek help?

I've been off birth control for almost 6 months now, and still no pregnancy.. How long should you wait before you get help?

My doctor told me a healthy couple should conceive in a year. So don't worry before it's been a year :)

My fertility doctor won't see patients unless they have been trying for a year. You can do things at home to see if you are ovulating and try during the time you are. I did the basil body temp charting. You could google it and see how it works. Good luck!

My doctor told me to give it 6-10 months before worrying or thinking about/seeking any tests or treatment options. Shockingly I conceived rather quickly but I know the 6-10 months was what he thought was the going average :)
