Boppy Wedge pillow - how do you sleep with one?

I just can't seem to get comfortable. I bought a Boppy Wedge pillow in hopes to get a decent night's rest. I haven't been successful yet. Do any of you have any recommendations on how to use the wedge pillow (or other recommendations on how to get more sleep?)?

I used a body pillow for between the knees and ankles and to keep me from rolling toward my belly. And then when my belly started getting heavier I used the wedge pillow to support my belly.

I was give one by a friend. At first I hated it, but as the belly got bigger I grew to love it. But I found I had to be careful with how much I did or didn't push it under my belly--either too much or too little was uncomfortable. I also used a regular pillow between my knees the last month to help my hips and to sleep better, but this might have worked that way as well.

I don't have a belly yet (12w3d) but i bought the boppy wedge last week because i am normll a back sleeper and i know they say to start sleeping in you side around 4 months. I digured I would try and start as soon as i read that so i could hopefully "train" myself to be a side sleeper. It was fine for the first month but then i was waking up with back oaun and i realized that my hups would stay in the side but my shoulders would fall forward or vise versa and i was basically twisting in to different directions. After tucking the boppy wedge under my belly it props me up just enough where that doesn't happen anymore. I have also used it s a back support in a chair or sitting on the couch and it works well. One time i really wanted to lay on my back so i put it behind me and it propped me up enough that i wsn't actually on my back.
