When do I start??

I got the BC pills almost a month ago but haven't started them because I hadn't gotten my period. I started my period on Monday, finally. Do I just start them or wait till Sunday?? Not sure lol first timer...

There should be instructions that came with your pill packet. Usually they say to either start the first day of your period or the Sunday after you start your period. The instructions will also tell you how long to use another method of birth control.

If you want to be protected from pregnancy you should start ideally on the first day of your period.. I think you can start it between day 1-3 to be protected unless you have a short cycle
