1 hour glucose test

For those of you who passed the 1 hour glucose test, was there anything in particular that you did to prepare? My doc wasn't very helpful in this area and I am a little nervous. My appointment is tomorrow at 12:45. I plan on getting up and eating a healthy breakfast and drinking plenty of water. Should I eat lunch before my appointment and if so when? I'm not trying to throw the test or anything but I just want to make sure I do this right.
