Cervix dilating?

Question

Can you feel when you start to dilate or not so much? My doctor checked me on Tuesday and said I still didn't have anything going on down there yet but I've been more sore and crampy the last few days.

When you're in labor you can, it feels like a lot of pressure down there. I don't think you can when its like 1-3

I was dilated at a 2 forever with my first I never felt it,  I didn't dilate farther tell I was in actual labor. You don't literally feel it dilate but the contractions help bring it on and a odd kind of pressure/pain.

I've never felt it dialating til active labor.
