When should you stop breast feeding?

I would stop as soon as my child starts to come up to me pulls my top up or down in order to get breast milk.

I let my daughter self wean.  She was 3. I have no regrets. They won't nurse forever, and it's not as taboo in many other countries as it is in America, to extended breastfeed.

Some babies get their teeth as young as 3 months old. I would not use that as a good timeline for stopping.

When children are left to self ween, they generally do so between the ages of 2-4.

I stopped after a year due to needing my space and freedom, but continued to pump. I personally don't think you should past 3 or 4. I find that they first start to pick up on *physical* traits at that point. But that's just me.

As long as we're going to continue to spam the same questions, why does everyone leave out the pump??

Whenever both mom and baby are ready. It should never become harmful/stressful for either... both of you are important.

Whatever time is best for mom and baby ☺️ I hope/plan to nurse until my baby is 1. I REALLY hope I have a year supply in me!!
