I usually do so every time only because my periods are so painful and I worry so much about TSS. I do it just to be on the safe side because way better safe than sorry.

What did I just read?! lol I change my tampon every time I use the restroom and if not every 2-4hrs.... Have I've been doing it wrong?!?! lol cause I honestly can't imagine leaving it there for longer nor not changing it when I pee!

If you reach around from behind and pull the string out of the way, it won't get wet when you use the bathroom. Changing too often will irritate your vagina because a dry tampon pulls on the walls of your vagina.

I've always just changed it whenever I use the restroom. The only time I don't change it and am using the restroom is when I don't have a new tampon on me, which is rare. Even if I pull the string out of the way I find that when I do change the tampon it somehow still has pee on it.

If I would use them, I would do. The urin would start to smell.
I use a menstrual cup. No contact to the urin - no need to change. Great solution.

No Cuz I pee a lot that would be a waste on tampons. I just hold the string away & don't get pee on it. It's 2 different holes so there's no way the tampon itself could get soaked in pee.
