A sign of PCOS?

PCOS?" /> My periods have been late the past three months. Three days late in March, six days late in April, and four days late and counting this cycle. I'm testing negative on prego tests and my doctor refused to give me a blood test. Could I have PCOS?

I have PCOS and I didn't have a period for six year while on BC. Took a round of Provera to get it back 6 months after stopping BC.  Is your OB your primary care? Ask another doctor  (if you have one) to run an hormone panel including  your lh, free and total testosterone, and A1C. If your OB refused to do blood work I would seriously  get a second opinion from another doctor, it's just blood labs!

PCOS is a complicated issue. I can go 6 months without a period and still consider it normal for me. With that is weight gain, facial hair, tummy hair, cystic ovaries, and mental issues like depression. They will usually test after many months of not getting pregnant or if you have very irregular periods or facial hair.
