Having our first baby.. it's a girll. Should I go all out and do pink .. or keep it neutral for when we have another baby?

We're having a little boy for our first. I've always preferred blue to all other colors but when my sis offered me a free pink moby and a free pink pack n play, why say no? The kid sure isn't gonna care!

Remember if you go gender neautral there can and probably will be a ton of feminine accents like a pink car seat cover or pink toys.

I'm also having a girl but going with gender neutral things, it's not like the baby will care and I'll be able to use it for the next baby 😊 it makes so much more financial sense and kids are expensive as is no need to waste money having to buy two of everything if your second baby is a boy

From someone who wanted tons of everything pink for my first baby, a girl, it's not worth it. Sure all the pink looked adorable, but then we had absolutely nothing to use for when our son was born two years later. Quite frankly, it is better to do neutrals, and then incorporate pink and purple with her clothing, maybe some girly blankets and bows. I promise, even if you have your child drowning in a sea of pepto-pink, you're still going to have people ask if it's a boy or girl. Our second daughter, we just used bright cheerful, "neutral colors" like oranges and greens, and it was still really cute, and could be used for another kid, boy or girl.

I would say gender neutral if you want to use it for your second if you have a boy. I wasn't able to keep the big items when I moved so I'm starting over and buying everything in grey just in case we have one more. Our colors are pink and grey so I'll be able to add a girly flare.
