18 weeks, too early?!

Question

I'll be exactly 18 weeks Tuesday and I'll have my anatomy scan! 
I want everything to go smoothly, is this too early to tell anything?

Any advice? 
Also, have you ever worried about going in and not hearing baby, or if something is wrong I'm so nervous.

Technically it's not to early, I waited and will be 22 weeks because of some medical concerns and wanted them to see all four chambers of the heart clearly. Your OB will let you know if they can't see things they need to see. With my first I was 18 weeks and they couldn't see all four chambers of her heart so we had to have another scan. I don't like to have any extra scans for personal reasons. I go Thursday morning, so excited! Good luck and best wishes! 😃

I had mine at 15 weeks and it was confirmed again at 20 weeks

The appropriate time to get the anatomy scan is between 18-24 weeks. So your good!

Had mine at exactly 18w, we were able to see everything clearly. All organs were clear and in the right place. Our baby boy also let us see the gender clearly!

Not too early! I had mine at 17+5 the docs wouldn't schedule them if it was too early 😊 it went great the doc was awesome they can tell you the sex, show you all for chambers of babies heart, see the brain, and a few other organs it was really cool!

We found out the gender of our first two children at 18 weeks, they were clearly boys! It's not too early at all.
