Milkshakes during pregnancy safe?

Are milkshakes during pregnancy safe to drink? Makes me nervous with all the listeria recalls on icecream but I'm dying from one from shake shack! What do you all feel?

The way I look at it, listeria can show up in anything from ice cream to cantaloupes. The actual risk of getting it is super low. Ice cream is always worth the risk!

There was one brand of Ice cream recalled..and this whole listeria thing is relatively new for pregnant women..I never even heard of it 6 years ago when I was pregnant. Quit worrying  and have a milkshake.

They say you shouldn't have them because there could be bacteria on the machines they use and also you aren't supposed to consume soft serve ice cream or yogurt during pregnancy. It is safe for you but not for the baby.

I get shakes from Chickfila all the time, just make sure the chain you go to is clean. I mean really some fast food places look a mess, and so you should try to avoid those places. I think you'll be fine, but if you're really nervous r just make you're own shakes at home. It'd be cheaper and you get more shakes for your $$$.
