Has anyone ever gotten pregnant on the pill?

I had perfect use when I conceived my son. I had my period the end of august and continued perfectly until the end of September when I skipped my period by starting a new pack of pills. Starting in October everyone at work had the dreaded stomach bug so when I started getting nausea and vomiting and all that fun morning sickness I attributed it to that. 3 weeks later I went to the doctor because I could not shake it and they made me give a urine sample. Low and behold I was 8 weeks pregnant.  I became pregnant in the beginning of September. A few months later (at week 27) I was a mom. Wouldn't change it for the world.

I got pregnant despite taking my pill at the same time every day and my partner using a condom that never tore nor fell off. I had a miscarriage and dodged that bullet, but be careful. It does happen.

My friend was on the pill and even took plan b just to be extra careful and STILL got pregnant!

I have 3 friends who have gotten pregnant from taking it incorrectly as in skipping/forgetting pills all the time or being on antibiotics and not using a backup method. But i also have a friend whose been on it 10+ years and never been pregnant. I did not get pregnant the 4.5 years i was on the pill.
