Would you expect a new spouse to like your kids?

As in step parents, and assuming the person had no nefarious intentions against the child for any reason. More like indifferent to them.

No. I expect them to respect them and be a good parent. I don't even expect parents to like there biological kids. Many times the personalities just aren't compatible, and that's life, nothing wrong with that.

Of course I would!!! If a person cannot accept my daughter then that is there loss! There isn't a man in this world that is more important than my daughter and if they cannot understand that then oh well. In this world, people come and go whether it be friendships, relationships, or what ever it may be, but my daughter is and always will be a part of me. If someone cannot accept her, then I am ditching them.
