First appt-11weeks....what?!?!

I called my midwifes office to set up my first appt and they said they don't do first appts until 10-11weeks. I have never heard of that. With my son I was allowed to be seen at 8 weeks. I left a message for the nurse telling her I miscarried in April and really need to be seen asap. Crossing my fingers she calls back and says yes. I bawled through the whole message. This is so stressful.
