Help for PCOS
I'm 23 and after being married for about a year my husband and I began TTC, after two years of emotional ups and downs, and lots of blood tests I was diagnosed with PCOS. But, my gyno referred me to a fertility clinic for help with the issue.. But, unfortunately MassHealth (my state issued health insurance) doesn't cover any kind of fertility doctors. I was very discouraged and figured it would just have to wait.. But after talking with a family member of mine who also has PCOS, she told me she never had to go to a fertility specialist. Her OBGYN prescribed her Metformin, and something else to induce ovation.. I was wondering if any of you with PCOS got more hell from your gyno because mine hasn't given me any since my diagnosis a few months back. And, my hair has begun to fall out. Any feedback is very appreciated!
