A baby can be lactose intolerant or be allergic to something in the mother's diet.

It's possible but EXTREMELY rare. More likely that baby has an allergy to something mom is eating, which can be temporarily eliminated from her diet.

Idk if she's allergic to drink it I think her skin is allergic to it if that makes sense lol, wherever my milk touches her skin she gets a rash

I have a friend breast feeding and it turns our her baby boy has several severe food allergies that were coming through her milk.  She is now on a strict diet so she can continue to feed him.

My very close friend was breastfeeding her son in the beginning, he got very sick, jaundiced. They did some tests and found he was not responding well to her breast milk. He went on formula after that. So, it does happen, but I believe it's very rare.

My nephew isn't lactose intolerant but couldn't nurse. My sister's milk made him sick. The lactation specialist thinks her milk didn't have something that he needed so that's why he got sick. But she tried changing her diet and everything. No dice. So he had to be switched to formula

My cousin has to stop breastfeeding because her baby reacted to her milk by breaking out in a rash all over his face. She tried the elimination diet and nothing worked.

It could also just be baby acne which is caused by our milk and hormones. We had that and my pediatrician didn't seem concerned.

How many weeks is your baby?

Not likely. It's far more common to have an allergy to something you've eaten that's passed into milk. Common culprits are dairy, eggs or soy in the diet. Consult your child's pediatrician ASAP!
