What was your first step

Okay long story short ever since I started my menstrual cycle I've always always been irregular. I would get my period one month for 7 days straight and then i wouldn't get it again for another 3 months. It was like that for some years up until 2 yrs ago when i had only got my period twice the whole year, it really freaked me out. So this past December i went to dr and they gave me birth control to regulate it and try to get pregnant after. Well the Dr gave me birth control for 3 months it worked and helped me get my periods. As soon as i got off birth control I regulated to a normal menstrual but I am still not pregnant. I am very scared to go back and them tell me I cant have kids but I want to know what should I do? What was the first step you took helping you to try to conceive? Also my glow keeps telling me I have symptoms of endometriosis..ugh! So frustrated!!
