Is it weird to still have your childhood thing?

So I have this stuff animal it's a white pink unicorn i had her since i was 5, my stepdad thinks it stupid to have something like that and i should give it up but im only 18 and i think it ok to keep it because that was apart of my life lol and to me that's memories i cant give that up... It hard to i saw it in the box and i just cant help but to take it and hide it ughhh 🙊 😩 lol so does anybody have anything that u had when u was a lil if so u can post a picture of it and comment? I would love to see it lol

Those are the snoopy/Woodstock stackers my great grandma had for me to play with when I stayed with her. I played with those since I was a toddler. Now they sit on my desk in my cubicle. It's a fun, sentimental daily work distraction!

Oh I love this! I have a stuffed leopard in the bed with me, he is 25 years d and I got him when I was 3 and my dad gave him to me when my parents broke up to keep me company. Can't sleep without him, he's so old he has had many nose repairs and is flat from being between my arms when sleeping. My partner doesn't mind as he's not hugely cuddly anyway. I hope my baby makes a friend like that!

My grams bought be a HUGEEE teddy bear when I was real little and when I was in about the ninth grade my dad gave it to our puppies and I kinda still haven't forgiven him for it (I'm almost 21 now) if it's something that has a lot of value to you don't let anyone tell you to get rid of it..

I'm 25 and sill have my baby blanket and stuffed bear from birth. My son now uses them. It's so nice and meaningful to be able to pass those things down.

I have a stuffed seal from when I was a kid. I don't regularly sleep with it or play with it, but I do lovingly look at it, pet it, and keep it clean. It holds many memories for me and makes me happy when I see it. If it makes you happy, then keep it.

I'm 20 years old and have this Winnie the Pooh pillow iv had it since I was born my aunt made it for me before I was born I have pictures of me in the baby crib with it all the way up to teen age pictures with it I can't n will not sleep with out it I take it everywhere I go even if it's just to Walmart it goes with me

And the weird n kinda nasty thing is it's never been washed since it was hand made in to scared to wash it I don't want it to be ruined is that nasty? 
Everyone tells me I need to throw it away that it's nasty but I can't I don't leave it anywhere there was this one time I went on a softball trip with my high school team n I had left it in the hotel when we checked out we were two hours away from the town n I make my coach turn around so I could go back n get it everyone hated me after that they said it was just a pillow to get over it but I couldn't just leave my pillow begins like that it sad been with me through everything it's like my best friend I know I'm weird right?

My husband and I both have stuff. He has this huge stuffed animal that was in a closet at his moms house, he won't get rid of it and he wants to give it to our son. I have a handful of stuffed animals and a small blanket (actually a random piece of fabric I stole from my grandma when I was little). I won't get rid of mine because they were from grandparents that have passed and it's all I really have from them or an old pooh bear that was my dad's when he was a baby. I'll give some to my son as well and some stuff will stay tucked away in my closet. I think it's fine to keep things that have meaning to you.
