spotting bad

I'm freaking out a tiny bit and before calling my doctor I wanted some opinions. I'm on the pill and sometimes I spot but Saturday my bf came inside and this morning I was spotting really bad. is it possible it could be mplantation bleeding or just my body balancing out the hormones because of what happened?
